Artist's Description
A number of years ago I had the opportunity to go to El Salvador for short while to map the geology of the road cuts of the then new Pan-American Highway. I took numerous non geologic photos as well. Here is an ad for, I presume, a car mechanic.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
