Artist's Description
Soon after I moved to Wisconsin I had the oppurtunity to go to El Salvador to map the geology of the road cuts along the newly opened pan American highway. One thing about El Salvador is that there seem to be more buses than people. Here a group of people are waiting under a roadcut, cut by a fault, to catch one of the numerous buses.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
