Description
A chute, for want of a better word, in the walls of the canyon in the Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, west of the Rio Grande between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in New Mexico. The wall is composed of volcaniclastic sediments resulting from the eruption in Jemez Volcanic field about 6-7 million years ago. This photo is also available as a color image.
