Artist's Description
This shadow pattern is created by the awning, for want of a better word, which covers the entrance to Parlaiment House in Canberra, Australia. The alternating ribs and Perspex panes create an abstract image on the walls to the side of the entrance.
About Steven Ralser
I am a nature and landscape photographer based in Madison, WI, with images from around the world. I am originally from Australia, but have lived in New Brunswick, Canada, and Socorro, New Mexico, before moving to Madison. I am trained as a geologist, and still teach introductory geology classes (need to pay the bills somehow).. The love of the outdoors has strongly influenced my photography, initially in Australia, but then in the the NW Territories of Canada (I was there doing geology), and the desert of New Mexico.
