Description
Ordovician shales on the coast in southern NSW, Australia. The orange lines crossing the blue rocks represent an axial planar foliation; as this foilation is normal to the layering (bedding) indicates that it is on the hinge of a fold. These low grade metamorphic rocks, may comprise part of an Ordovician accretionary prism.
